General Information
Temperate forests are areas with high levels of precipitation, humidity, and contain a variety of deciduous trees. Locations where temperate forests exist include Eastern Asia, Central and Western Europe, Eastern United States, Eastern Australia, South of South America, and South of Africa. They're found between the polar regions and the tropics.
The dark areas represent where most of the world's temperate forests are found.
Resources
Some renewable resources of the temperate forest include plentiful berries, rich soil, valuable timber, and clean air.. The renewable resources are very beneficial to the hundreds to thousands of trees and plant life and animal life in each temperate forest. A nonrenewable resource would have to be the fresh water. Whatever amount of water there is on Earth, is the set amount. This fresh water is also beneficial to all of the living organisms of the temperate forest.
